Some history about The Vibes…
Matlock, MoJo and Stuntman Jack started their band in late 2002 in Aarau, Switzerland.
At the beginning they had several second guitarists too but that drifted apart. In 2004 The Vibes released their debut album Psychedlic Straight Rock’n'Roll which is as the name implies more of a kind of psychedelic, progressive rock.
But with time the things became more levelheaded and hard’n'down’n'dirty!
Today they are three berserkers working hard and yanking all in the same direction. In 2008 they released their second record Whiskey, Sex & Rock’n'Roll, which gave them a really bad-ass feedback and they are trying now to spread their rock’n'roll out to the globe from their local base.
A beloved feature they always had is that they are authentic and that they live the life they preach.
The story of the band is branded from losing a trailer after a show, forgotting merchandise and a guitar after the heavy afterparty of a show, a drowned shit-faced jagged mixer that even can’t spell his name, fucking up people, boozing and burning cities to the ground.
But that actually is what rock’n'roll is all about…
The Vibes sound like…
…Bud Spencer fighting with Quentin Tarantino, while Motörhead plays live on stage!
The sound is a blend of hard rock and southern rock.
Overdriven guitars & basses, roaring drums and organs, flamed with some good old Jack Daniel’s, fucked up with cigarettes & sleaze and for sure as hell they love it loud and dirty!
Broken down to bands you could say a mixture of Motörhead, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith.
The Vibes call their style T.C.B. Rock’n'Roll (T.C.B. stands for Taking Care of Business, in the sense Elvis used it), which states a certain kind of quality about how they stand by their music and that they live what they say/do.
And it means that they do not spread digital fucked up garbage for 15 minutes of shame!
The press says…
„High proof, animal rock’n’roll with concentrated passion and power, displosive, roaring, vivid, bold, shaken, not stirred and for sure as hell pure and without ice – cheers!“

„If Mr Jack Daniels had decided to start a band rather than a whiskey brand, it would sound exactly like The Vibes!“
glitzine.net
„Probably one of the baddest ass coolest fucking bands out there. They’ve got the look, the sound and that reminds me why I do what I do. This release will be on my playlist for eternity!“
